You only need an extra of 300 calories per day during pregnancy which means overeating is a myth. On the other hand, if you overeat, you may put on extra weight. Your extra calories will be stored in the body and gets converted to fat. Average weight gain during pregnancy is around 11-17 kg. Anything above this is excess weight.
No exercise during pregnancy : If you don't have any complications then definitely you should join exercise classes under proper supervision. Your back pain , leg cramps , foot swelling will only reduce with exercise. Inactivity and bed rest during pregnancy only increases these aches and stiffness. A trained personnel can chalk out some definite exercises if you have pregnancy related complications. If nothing is possible at least walking for half an hour should be done for all pregnant ladies.

Excess Ghee doesn't contribute to your nutrition. It only gives you empty calories which leads to increase in your weight.
You shouldn't drink too much water after delivery as It will protrude your stomach. Again it's a myth. On the contrary you need more water to produce milk. If your body has less water milk quantity reduces but quality remains the same.
